Core capabilities

What's inside.

ISO 19650 status flow
ISO 19650 Status Flow
Every document moves through Work in Progress, Shared and Published, with suitability codes and revision numbers. Published versions are locked and cannot be changed. Every status change is recorded with who made it, when, and why.
Smart upload with naming convention validation
Smart Upload & Naming Control
File names are checked against the project's naming convention before upload. Presets for ISO 19650, DIN, ÖNORM and SIA are included. Numbers can be assigned automatically, metadata carries over from the previous version, duplicates are detected, and every file is virus-checked.
Configurable document approval workflow
Approval Workflows
Check, review and authorise documents in configurable workflows, built in a visual designer. Deadlines count working days, reminders go out automatically, and workflows can start on upload. Each completed workflow produces a PDF approval record.
Document viewing and markup tools
View, Mark Up & Compare in the Browser
Open PDFs, Office files, images and videos without leaving the browser. Add markups and stamps, measure lengths and areas, and compare two versions to see exactly what changed.
Nexus CDE issue management
Issue Management
Raise issues on a document or straight from a markup, with a snapshot of the marked area. Assign them to a person or a role, set priorities and due dates, and @mention colleagues. Assigned issues appear in each person's task list.
Nexus CDE document search
Powerful Search & Registers
Search inside PDF, Office and text-file content and IFC model attributes, with filters and saved searches. Export document and model registers to Excel, CSV or PDF.
Project folder and classification permissions matrix
Precise Access Control
Roles, groups and permissions are set per project and per folder, and a matrix shows who can do what and why. Work in progress stays private to its team. People who aren't project members can't see that the project exists.
Nexus CDE audit log
Complete Audit Trail & Data Return
Every action is logged in an audit trail that no one can edit or delete. At project end, get a complete data-return package with all files, registers and the audit trail, plus a certificate confirming data deletion.

Project Templates

Start from an ISO 19650 template with folders, roles, naming rules and workflows already set up.

Container Sets & Smart Links

Group documents into delivery or review packages. Link documents to each other and IFC model elements, and find references inside file content.

Open & Secure

Use a documented REST API (OpenAPI), configurable password and session policies, two-factor authentication, out-of-office stand-ins and a multilingual interface.
