The system is a web-based centralized environment, deployed in a central and a secure location accessible via Internet. This central location harbors the hardware components of the system, that is, the physical server on which the system is hosted, along with its auxiliary and peripheral tools for protection. The physical server is the laying ground for the relational database modeling system (RDBMS), in which the system keeps all of its data, the data that will be accessible only through the system or internally (on-hands) by the authorized and qualified staff.
Except for the database, the server also is the host for the web server software which accepts and reroutes the requests incoming from the clients, towards the server-side part of the system. This server-side section of the system represents the logic behind the system, and it implements the functionalities described later on in this document by executing needed data processing activities and calculations, extensively communicating with the database, building accurate responses based on client’s requests, and then delivering the requested content or requested results to the client.
Regarding the requirements for design and optimization of wireless networks, INS offers geographic raster data widely known as landuse or landcover, containing the morphology or clutter classes for cities in Macedonia and the whole country.
The complete process occurs in a secure and controlled environment where the complete communication line between the server and the client (and vice versa) is protected by highly adopted and tested standards. At the end, everything that end-users need to start using the system is a web browser and an internet connection.
